Probation Status & Exiting |
School Year '21 - '22
|
Probation Status can stem from behavior issues (failing to work with others, negativity, misuse of media pass, etc.), attendance issues (failing to show up on time), or academic deficiency (D or F grade on Grade Checks). Failure to move out of Probationary Status within an agreed upon time will result in exiting the Advanced Media program. Probationary Members...
Advanced Production Exit Process: results from members choosing to leave the program or failing to meet the requirements of their probation status. Exited members can not rejoin the program for 1 whole year and must reapply. Personal Note: while I don't encourage students to give up. I understand that this program is NOT for every student (right now). As much I want the right students for this class, I want this class to be the right fit for you and your goals as well! On average 1-3 students have exited the program per year. Please deeply consider your choice to apply as exiting students not only slows down the program, it may hurt another student's opportunity to join as well, due to the limited seats available in the class. |
