4th Quarter: The ​Sizzle Reel

A video resume is a running log of all your accomplishments in this class. It not only allows you to visually see your achievements, but it should also help you figure out your areas of improvement by showing you which roles you tend to avoid or don't get assigned to. You will be required to keep your resume updated throughout the 2nd and 3rd quarter.  Access HERE.

3rd Quarter - 8th Grade. Please access your previous resume and continue adding to it by including this school year's productions. Your resume will be graded at the end of the 3rd quarter.

A sizzle reel (also known as demo reel, highlight reel, pitch, or teaser reel) is a common practice in the film industry that helps filmmakers, producers, talents, editors, and cinematographers demonstrate their skill in various aspects of video production. For this assignment, you will create a sizzle reel that highlights your accomplishments in this class. Access Instructions HERE.

8th Graders, access your previous sizzle reel and recut parts of it into your new reel. It's important to see PROGRESS as part of your whole time in Adv. Media.

You sizzle reel will be used in conjunction with your Video Resume as part of your Student-Led Presentations (tentatively scheduled for May).
